How Many Moving Boxes Will I Need?

One ecobox will safely hold 75 pounds. Moving is usually a stressful time. For at least a few days you're living out of a suitcase and until you find the frying pans, plates and cutlery you're probably eating more fast food than you'd care to. Instead of kicking back and unwinding after work you've got boxes to pack or unpack, kids toys to find before they lose their minds, or make sure you know exactly which boxes is holding the important documents.
Really, one of the last things you need to worry about is whether or not you've got enough moving boxes. But most of us have been in the middle of packing for a move only to discover that we didn't have enough boxes. Maybe you just didn't get enough in the first place. Maybe you discovered halfway through the packing that those old cardboard boxes in the basement aren't going to survive through another move after all. When the moving truck is showing up in a matter of hours it's not really the time to increase your blood pressure over why there aren't enough boxes; it's just time to get more boxes.

We understand that it's not always easy to estimate how many moving boxes you're going to need. So we've put together some guides to help you estimate how many of our plastic moving boxes you might need. Of course these are just general guidelines. The actual number of boxes you'll need depends on your packing style and the amount of stuff that you are moving.
