At ecobox we're committed to helping you reduce the environmental impact of your move as much as possible. Here are some of the ways that our plastic moving boxes and eco-friendly moving supplies are doing that:
- Reuse – ecobox uses robust plastic moving boxes that are designed to last at least 300 trips. This lets us maximize the use of the plastic while saving many trees from becoming cardboard boxes.
- Reduce - using ecobox can reduce the impact of a move in so many ways:
- Reduced cardboard box waste at the dump
- Reduced amount of packing supplies being unwrapped and tossed in the garbage
- Reduced number of trees cut down to be mulched into cardboard boxes that see a very limited number of uses
- Reduced number of ecosystems damaged or even destroyed just to harvest these trees and then move them around for processing and delivery
- Recycle - All of ecobox's eco-friendly moving boxes, packing supplies and moving supplies can be either be melted down in water or recycled at the end of their useful life. Our moving boxes will be sent back to the manufacturer to be broken down and repurposed into other plastic materials. There is no reason why any ecobox product should end up in a landfill.
